My time in D.C. is half way up! I really don’t understand where the weeks go. I’ve already accomplished a few things that I set out to do during my year here, but there are many more things I need to cross off my list before I leave this great city.

  • Find a new form of fitness Boxing FTW
  • Try Bollywood dancing And how addicting it is
  • Watch the sunrise over the mall
  • Go to Baltimore
  • Go to New York (6.20)
  • See the ocean (6.8)
  • Go to Ben’s Chili Bowl (2.7)
  • Get a cupcake from Baked&Wired (2.17)
  • Try every doughnut at GBD: grapefruit campari, coffee cake, vanilla glaze (1.3), apple fritter, chocolate cream, key lime, carrot cake, maple-bourbon glazed, pumpkin, passion fruit, butterscotch pudding (6.20), cherry almond, coconut cream (7.17), cranberry fritter, funfetti, summer jam, snickers (5.9.), nutella, lemon poppyseed, strawberry glazed, peanut butter & jelly, tres leches (1.3), oreo, espresso
  • Visit Arlington Cemetery
  • Have a meal at Old Ebbitt Grill (4.11) Bread pudding. 
  • Have drinks on a roof (2.22)
  • Go salsa dancing (3.21)
  • Visit Mt. Vernon (4.13)
  • Go to the National Arboretum
  • Publish something (5.18)
  • Explore Georgetown (2.17) and Arlington (2.15)
  • See a performance at the Kennedy Center
  • Paddle-boat in the Tidal Basin
  • Finish these books: Behind the Beautiful Forevers (2.16), Pakistan: A Hard Country, Games without Rules, Till We Have Faces, Catcher in the Rye, Taliban
  • Volunteer at five places: D.C. Public School Beautification Day, FLOC, Washington Humane Society, Community Support Services
