Green Food

In honor of St. Patty’s day (or just by coincidence), I made many green recipes last weekend. The first was asparagus benedict. I love asparagus. I have no idea why, but I think it makes every meal better and I could also just eat an entire stalk on its own. I found this recipe in Women’s Health and decided to try it.


I had a lot of asparagus left over and some prosciutto slices. This combination seemed to come naturally.

ImageOn the not so healthy side, I also made a white chocolate peppermint cake (Mix&Match Mama, per usual). Complete with mint dark chocolate M&Ms and peppermint extract, this cake made you feel like you were brushing your teeth. If only eating minty sugar was actually good dental hygiene.
